Dr. Neil D. Parikh is a board-certified gastroenterologist and partner at Connecticut GI, PC. He is Chief Innovation Officer for Connecticut GI, Chair of Innovation for the GI Alliance, and an assistant clinical professor at the University of Connecticut. Dr. Parikh received his undergraduate education at Johns Hopkins University in Maryland and then did medical school and residency at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York City.
After completing residency, Dr. Parikh did an endoscopy research fellowship specializing in advanced imaging of the upper GI tract at Mount Sinai Hospital and then completed a traditional three-year gastroenterology fellowship at Yale University. Beyond seeing patients in his clinical practice, Dr. Parikh serves as Chief of Gastroenterology at Hartford Hospital and hosts The Gut Doctor Podcast. Dr. Parikh has over 20 peer-reviewed publications in gastroenterology.
